Leap For A Cure
Breast cancer affects many loved ones in our community, and our mission is to help find a cure. The Preston Automotive Group (PAG) raises awareness during the entire month of October to support people diagnosed and their family members. Our annual “Leap For a Cure” program donates $50 to the American Cancer Society for every that is sold at our dealerships. Last year, 252 cars were sold across PAG and we raised a total of $12,600. Visit Preston Ford of Keller and the PAG family of dealerships to receive a pink frog with your new vehicle and support our fight against this disease.
Story Behind The Pink Frog
In 2014, we introduced our special-edition pink Preston Frog in honor of our dear friend and former PAG employee, Diana Vincent. Diana coordinated various breast cancer events at our dealerships before her passing in 2017. Now in remembrance of Diana and the millions suffering from this disease, we wear pink on Fridays and “Paint the Plex Pink” every October at our sister location –– the Preston Autoplex.
“1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.” — The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Driven To Inspire
The American Cancer Society hosts a “Driven To Inspire” event every year and has acknowledged our PAG family as a Community Partner since 2016. For this event, we wrap a Ford F-150 in pink and park our fleet of pink pickup trucks at local events for guests and associates to sign. Join our “Leap For a Cure” by visiting Preston Ford of Keller and the PAG family of dealerships this October! We hope to see you there.

Examine Your Tires
Bald tires that contain excessive tread or cuts can be hazardous when roads are icy. You may even consider getting snow tires for optimal grip. Uneven tire pressure may reduce your fuel economy and overall handling. Also, be sure to have a jack and spare handy.
Observe Your Brakes
Your brakes should be changed now and then according to how and where you drive. Listen for vibrating noises when you press the pedal and any alert lights that may appear. Let our certified Ford technicians know if you notice anything unusual. Expand your brakes’ longevity is by coasting to slow down and having your brake fluid checked regularly.

Test Your Heating Unit
Book your Ford winter care today to avoid cold commutes! If you notice a strange smell coming from your vents, antifreeze leaking in the passenger floor, or you are shivering even when the heat is on, these are warning signs that your heating unit is malfunctioning.
Prioritize Oil Changes
Lubrication prevents the moving parts within your engine from turning into a thick sludge that can lead to costly repairs. It is recommended to change your oil every three months or 3,000 miles, but check your owner’s manual for your specific model. You can DIY or call us to replenish your oil today!
Check Fluid Levels
Yellow engine oil, translucent brake fluid, green coolant, amber-colored transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and blue windshield wiper fluid are essential in your vehicle. Schedule your Ford winter care for us to top off your fluids and check for leaky hoses.

Through The Bronco Generations
In the late 1940s, when war heroes returned to the states, it was evident that they enjoyed the Army Jeep for its versatility and rugged capability. Ford production manager Donald Frey and lead designer Lee Iacocca understood that customers were seeking an all-purpose vehicle that could traverse through the ranches, off-road trailheads, and trout streams with dependability. Their vision of the Ford Bronco was established in 1965 as the 1966 model year, featuring a Bronco Roadster, a Bronco Sport Utility half cab, and a Bronco Wagon. Its first generation (1966-1977) offered unique seating arrangements and lasted for over a decade, stamping the hearts of thrill-seekers and workhorses. In 1978, the second-generation Ford Bronco rolled out, offering enhanced interior options, standout packages, and a more robust body style. Due to the global increase in gasoline prices, the third generation was introduced just a year later (1980-1986) with an improved fuel economy and smoother experience. The fourth-generation (1987-1991) was known as the “Aerodynamic Age,” exposing a list of game-changing specifications such as anti-lock braking technology and enhanced powertrain components. As the years evolved, automobiles required more creature-comforts, which led to the fifth generation Ford Bronco (1992-1996). This era offered a host of stylish upgrades, including premium sound, power locks, power windows, and various other accessible features. As you can see, the 2021 Ford Bronco legacy is marked by rugged and refined icons.
